I was under Miss Nandi's care for a radical hysterectomy. She was extremely clear and empathetic in all of our appointments and, most importantly, treated me as an adult with a brain who could be a proactive part of the decision making process. She also worked hard to give me the keyhole version of the operation which was very challenging in my circumstances. I really appreciated her commitment to provide the outcome that was so important to me. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

I came in for a LLETS under general anaesthetic. I was anxious about it and wasn’t really sure why I was having the procedure. The doctor read my notes and shared that she thought it was a little excessive to have to procedure today. I told her I agreed and she recommends a smear and colposcopy and went ahead with her plan of action. These things are never fun for a woman but she put me at ease chatting away. I would recommend her to anyone!

Miss Nandy was lovely and very different from two previous doctors who had treated me for a similar reason. She seemed to genuinely understand what the procedure was going to feel like for the patient and why I was so nervous about it. She was reassuring and quick and spoke to me throughout. I felt I was in safe hands. At Guy’s Hospital, Miss Nandy benefits from great nursing staff to assist her!

I felt listened to and like I was in safe hands. Appointment was very quick and no nonsense and I could tell she really knew her field from her conversations with the person accompanying me and her conversations with myself directly. Friendly and approachable too.
Profile
Dr. Nandy graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland Medical School in 2002. She did her OBGYN training in Ireland, with excellent exposure to high-volume obstetrics and gynaecology. She is a BSCCP-certified Colposcopist since 2009, and has a niche career interest in gynaecology cancer diagnostics. She has also undertaken two years of clinical fellowship in Reproductive Medicine (IVF), in Dublin and London.
Dr. Nandy has practiced in the NHS (UK) since 2011, and is currently appointed as a Consultant Gynaecologist, at Guy’s and Thomas’ Hospitals in London. Her current scope of practice spans general gynaecology, gynaecological cancer diagnostics, vulval disease. She holds professional memberships with the RCOG, RCPI, BSCCP, BGCS, ISSVD, and MPS.
